Within the broader mission of the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis, the Office of New Evangelization Initiatives exists to activate, assist, and encourage the New Evangelization, collaborating with parishes, archdiocesan agencies, schools, families and other spiritual contexts throughout the Archdiocese on a number of initiatives, including Stewardship, Nothing More Beautiful and Together in Ministry, the formation program for parish pastoral councils.

The office also coordinates meetings of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, whose members are called to assist the Archbishop in developing a pastoral vision and helping to shape the future of the local Church.
