Newman Theological College, 10012 - 84 Street

From the earliest days of the Church, Christians have understood that being a Christian isn’t a private matter. We are called to be Christians together. We should be talking with God privately throughout our days and weeks, but our primary form of worshipping God—Sunday Mass—is both public and communal. We’ve been using the revised words of the New Roman Missal for a few weeks now. A Eucharistic Congress is being held in Dublin, Ireland, in June 10-17, 2012.

To coincide with both, the Archdiocesan Offices of Liturgy and Catechesis will present a series of six evenings of catechesis on the Mass between January and June. How do the four parts of Mass matter to my life? What, in plain language, is going on in the Sacred Liturgy? Please join us for this catechesis series on the source and summit of our life as Catholics: the Holy Mass

  • Session #3: Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
