Summer School in Liturgical Studies Program
The Liturgy Office is a co-sponsor of the Summer School in Liturgical
Studies program with Newman Theological College in cooperation with the
Western Conference for Liturgy and the National Liturgical Office of
the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
This program is held in July each year. It seeks to enable people
throughout Western Canada to respond to the challenge of Vatican II
"that all the faithful should be led to full, conscious and active
participation in liturgical celebrations." It is designed to develop
leadership and to promote a degree of liturgical competence.
Summer School in Liturgical Studies is open to all interested persons,
lay and ordained, and seeks to provide opportunities for personal and
spiritual growth, and for developing skills for parish ministry.
